Through a due preliminary “risk assessment” concerning typically most exposed areas to possible malfeasances referred-to-in D. Lgs. 231/2001, the Company implemented compliance procedures within the Model and Ethical Code to safeguard the proper business leading. Those principles constitute a significant asset for the work of directors, managers, employees, advisors and all stakeholders.
More precisely, the Model framework consists of:
- The General Part reports information about the Model structure and takes into consideration staples principles provided for by the parent company Silgan Holdings Austria GmbH;
- The Special Part describes processes/sensitive activities, offences related to D. Lgs. 231/2001 and relevant control procedures;
- Attachments: Ethical Code, Matrix offences/Processes/Functions/Procedures, List of Offences.

A Supervisory Body oversees the observance of the Organizational Model rules. This Body is guaranteed of indipendence and autonomy and can enforce standardized information flows as well as performs controls on sensitives areas.
In according to D. Lgs. 231/2001, the Surveillance Body shall get information on all circumstances relevant for the application or update of the Model ex D.lgs. 231/01, notably:
- Acting potential offences dealt-with-under D.lgs. 231/01;
- Behaviors not compliant with rules of conduct provided for by Model ex D.lgs. 231/01 and Ethical Code;
- any variation of the company or organization;
- any variation of the company or organization;
- operations of particular importance for the business or that may be sensitive on a risk assessment basis in according to the Decrete.
